Thank you everyone. I about broke my neck taking this picture. I slipped on the tracks, they were damp with dew, and my shoe slipped on the trestle, and down I went. BUT I saved the camera!!! lol. #3085154

Hi Sharrie! I love images that lead me in my mind to ask questions and then leave me to draw my own conclusions. Rail tracks are always highly evocative for me and disused ones like these particularly so. The weeds, the misty effect, the soft colors are excellant. But now inspite of my first sentence I need to know where this is - please share! Regards, Pete #3682224

Hello Peter. This is in West Virginia.
When I went to take this shot, I nearly broke my neck. It was early morning, and the tracks were wet with dew. My foot slipped on the trestles, and down I went. I saved the camera though. I figured the camera was more important, I can mend, but the camera might not. So I got the shot in spite of my pain. (smile.) Glad you enjoyed the picture. #3682832
