LOVE IT! How was it created Andrew?Andrew McClintock December 06, 2003
Thanks for the comment Adam and thanks for the question. The water portion of the picture was the hardest. I sprayed my face with water that was dyed blue and then took a picture. In photoshop I selected just the water droplets. I then pasted them on a black background leaving just an impression of my face. The other face was created in pitch black with a laser. I opened the shutter for about four seconds and then simply "scanned" my face. All that showed was the laser, hinting the shape of my face. Then the two were put together and a few finishing touches (lips primarily) and the image was complete. I'm glad that it actually appealed to someone. Thanks again. #291063Jason Gehrman April 15, 2005
WOW!!!! I love this photo for so many reasons. Its original, its artistic, and its technical and required PS skills (frankly I'm tired of baby faces in the people gallery...no offence if you have any on the site). Its great to see something original.....you have also inspired me to try out some stuff. #1257130Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
