This is a south westerly view of Houston through a window from the 26th floor of the Hyatt Regency, Houston, TX. This is an actual view of what Houston and it's surrounding areas experienced before the flooding storms hit this past week.

Great cityscape, Jane, the storm clouds really paint an ominous picture! #471309Wendy Stevenson June 24, 2006
Great point of view Jane and very well composed!! Looks like it was a real bruiser of a storm!!! #2945601Jane Summa June 24, 2006
Thank you, Deb & Wendy! It was a bruiser of a storm! I felt sorry for the people on the way to work on Monday, stuck on parts of the freeway at a standstill for at least 2 hrs because of high water! Some parts of Houston that don't normally flood, flooded through this storm. #2945682Dr Silly June 24, 2006
