Thanks Sandy, Susan, Kirsten, Marsha, and Goshka! Must have taken fifty shots of irises and this was the only one with ANY potential. I just never know until I get back and look at them. Is it the same with you guys or do you *know* at that moment you've captured something special? #2930194

Absolutely and totally spectacular, Noel!!! Wow. This is just superb!!! I agree with Susan: so often, what I think is going to be the Perfect Shot is not so great and just as often, one I think is going to hit the trashbin turns out to be the best. I have to add that in the case of bad ones, it's the fault of the photographer! I know a gorgeous shot when I "see" one but I don't always get the light or focus just the way I want. One thing about it -- we are no longer "wasting" film on those, so BRAVO for digital!! #2934505
