Very good image. What film was this taken on? Doesn't look like Velvia. Needs to be! #4741

Beautiful indeed! Love all the different tones of blue. They all go together nicely to bring out the color of the boat and it's refelction. Great job! #7819

I think I like this version better than the cropped/vertical shot. This one says "lonely" better. Nice work, Aslan. #11486

This is such a breathtakingly beautiful photo. I'm a beginner and am having alot of trouble shooting water. I'm trying to get an even reflection like the one here, but the water's always moving or there's a glare, blurriness, haze or shine to the water. Could anyone tell me some tips for this? What settings, filters, lenses to use? Thanks! Again, gorgeous work, Aslan! #52555

Hi Alice,Go in the morning when the sun is low and the water is VERY still. Make sure that that the wind is not blowing AT ALL>You can try using a polarizer for effect. If the sun is in the corner of your right or left eye, the polarizer will work. Use a wide angle lens such as a 28mm for landscape photos. Good luck! #52630
