Snake & Shadow

Uploaded: June 03, 2006

Description

Bullsnake near Huntington, OR along the Snake River. These snakes imiate rattlesnakes to try and scare off predators but they are harmless and help keep the rodent population down. This one was the biggest one I've seen at just over 4'.

Rattle snake or not, he's creepy at 4'! I like the way the shadow balances out the comp. Great shot! #457643

I love the shadow. Full sun works well with this picture of this desert dweller.Recently, I've started to love snakes. I think it has something to do with my fear of rodents! #2849591
