great capture - :-) #63442Julie Comeaux October 02, 2003
You've got to have a fast finger and do some quicking thinking to capture something like this. The polar bear even looks like he smiled for you. Great shot! Animals and kids...two of my favs in one shot! #218728Judith G. Secco October 02, 2003

Thanks everyone for stopping by and commenting. It is difficult to shoot underwater polar bear activity. It is not so much being quick but being very patient and shooting lots and lots of pictures and then just hoping that one of them comes out right. Most of them turn out blurry or compositionally challenged;o) #219049Lori B. Matranga October 02, 2003
Such a great capture! It makes ya just want to hug the bear! I love the way the two are looking at each other! Great job! #219207Darren K. Fisher October 03, 2003
You are the best, Bets. I love this. I need to come and go to the Zoo with you one day. I really like how the bear is coming into the frame and your colors and detail are outstanding. #219690Bob Cammarata October 03, 2003
