commets welcomed, also category suggestions. #411598

For a category, probably Travel and Place would be the best one, and maybe(just maybe) elements of design.

I like this one, but maybe you should have not gotten quite so close. Depending on what's around it, this may or may not help. Another thing that doesn't help it is that the face is right dead center. So I think that if you zoom out a little and off center the face it would really help. #2550246

Brendan,Thanks for the comments. A problem I had with being able to place it off center was that there would be a large block on one side of it and a partial block (or no block) on the other, it just did not seem right.By zooming out I would also end up with the top of a window which I thought took away from the subject. So I opted for a portrait look for the "Lady" #2550365

I agree with Brendan. Travel and Place would probably work. I do like her though. #2561101

Nice shot, Mike, and an interesting subject. I like how it looks like she's crying. The only suggestion I can think of would have been to shoot a little closer. Instead of having her looking directly ( I just realized that I'm talking like it's a real person ) at the camera, try to get a little underneath so that she looking into the distance. It might make for an interesting perspective. #2576480

Mike, maybe it is my imagination but this seem a tad out of focus...maybe a little sharpening could also help?. I love architectural details like these. S #2585643

I like it Mike! I spent an afternoon on the Yale campus and not one of my shots turned out as nice as this. This would be a fun picture to mess with in PS ie cut and paste on a human, out of context on a wall etc.. Anyway, nice work! #2587399

Sharon & Don, Thanks for the comments.I think the shot is infocus but is a little soft due to the lens @300mm and the crop may not have helped any either.
Don, I am familiar with the Yale old campus (not as a student) You have a lot there to shoot.I may try to get there this spring.(thanks for the idea!)-Mike #2589066
