Wow!! I've never seen aloe flowers and this is really amazing, Pu!! Unusual and beautiful!! Well captured!! #402031Stanley J. Contrades March 03, 2006
I have three aloe plants growing outside but they don't have these multi-colored blossoms!! We keep them for more than just a decoration as the inside of the leaves are used on burns so that you don't scar, and they heal much better than using burn ointments, not to mention that they also take the sting out of the burn very quickly. There are many other uses for this plant!Janine Russell March 03, 2006

I'll have to get to your part of the desert someday! I have never seen this, wow is it beautiful! #2490296Pu Chen March 05, 2006
Thank you for your comments, Susan, Stan, Janine and Jill! I have only recently start to admire how beautiful these Aloe flowers can be, and there are so many varieties of them! I have used the commercial products with Aloe and known that they are very useful in burns but never used a real aloe plant! Should try that next time! #2497654Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
