That's a really fantastic photo! A line of brown, furry creatures trudging through a sea of white. Great! #393353

Thanks John, its been my favorite, but I keep getting comments that it needs to be cropped, taking some white out of the bottom. If you have a minute I'd like to hear what you think. #2426739

Well, it's just my opinion, of course, but in regard to cropping I would say...ABSOLUTELY NOT! I really like all the white space--it makes the landscape seem vast and cold and empty--and I think having the line of animals at the top of the frame is great. I don't know that I'd be as interested in the photo if the parade of critters went through, say, the middle of the frame. This way, it sort of looks like they're on a mountain of snow. Sure, the composition might be a little unconventional, but that's what draws me to it. I like it as is, but that's just one reporter's opinion. You know, I had no idea that lamas could lead sheep... #2427389

Thanks so much John and Terry for taking the time to comment, that is just how I feel about it as well. Now there is at least some consensus for keeping it as is! #2428186

I gotta agree Dee! I wouldn't crop a thing. A very dramatic image. Great!! #2451219

Dee,
If I may chime in on this, I went back and "cropped" the picture by moving the image down to cut off part of it, and it looks wrong to me. As John said at the first the starkness of it makes it all the more intriguing! I would like to see another photo zoomed in to just see the faces because I love animals and nature.
Nice shot!

Thanks for your input Jim, I think that I am quite determined to keep it as is. In fact, I have blown this up to a 30 by 40 inch piece with a huge white matting and absolutely love it!However, just to be fair, I'll work on the crop and post it soon. #2637170
