Thanks a lot, to all of you, who have taken time and written kind comments so often.
They had a blueish tone from the start, not ripe yet, then they are brown. The late light added to the mood.

This is great, birdie! I love the perspective and depth and as always the masterful control of the lighting!

As you can see, I'm way behind and trying to catch up. I hate to miss all the beautiful photos on this site, but with only a 56k modem that can't even manage 48k, I don't have time to go through all the entries once I'm so far behind, so all I can do is catch up on people's galleries. Visiting yours is always like walking into an expensive jewelry store, because I never fail to find new and precious gems :-) #174394

Thanks for your kind words, Gary.
I have ISDN, which is a little faster, but still I don't manage to keep up with everything going on here. It is simply a matter of time - after all we have to shoot photos before we can present them! LOL!

Wolfgang (birdie, did I miss something?)
you are a FIND. Few photographers stake
out a stylistic territory that is so
recognizable at once. Full of original
images of repose and splendor, adventurous enough to inspire me with your many ideas. I will look at these works often, and
learn.

thanks
