This guy has been visiting our yard for the last few days. I had never seen him before, but thrilled to have him. Taken with Canon 7D Mark II, with 100-400mm at 285mm, f8, 1/800, ISO 250, handheld through the window.

Thanks for sharing this wonderfully captured, sharp and textured beauty with us, Shirley. I think this is the first time I have seen one of these also. What part of the country? #11763045Shirley D. Freeman April 26, 2019
Thank you, Mike, that is very kind of you to say, and it was my pleasure to share this image. He visits my yard here in North Carolina, about 100 miles from the Atlantic Coast. I had never seen one before, so was quite surprised and pleased that he came, and he seems to be hanging around, so more photo opportunities. I woke up listening to him singing this morning! <>< #11763047Terry Cervi April 26, 2019
