Unsettled waters Lake Superior

Description

Standing on the shoreline of Lake Superior waiting for that initial peak of the sun in the early morning hours. As photographers we know that we take a risk on partly cloudy days of not seeing the glow of the sun peaking over the horizon and it very possible we can leave disappointed. However never give up as something even greater may appear. Here using a polarizing, ND soft grad 2 stop and ND hard grad 3 stop, it gives the appearance of some stormy waters with some mist over the rocks. I was pleased with this shot during the processing.
