Description

I have a fancy for silverplate flatware:) I like to see the wear marks the bright silvery color & the intricate Victorian designs that make you feel pretty when you eat w/ it. I think of all the tasty meals that have been eaten before me & I like the tin-like sound it makes when it touches the table. Modern stainless flatware has it's advantages, but it doesn't have the charm of silverplate. This particular fork has many facets about it that I have photographed several times. Stacking eye glasses on top of glasses I found it to have an inscription: "Un Dieu un Roy" which means "One God One King". With the help of a Young Living box & some 19th century post cards as a background I was able to come up w/ something I liked. F5.6 1/4sec iso 100 @72mm 18-135Canon Lens w/ extension tube
