Description

Austin is home to the world's largest urban bat colony - Starting from late March to early Fall, an estimated 750,000 to 1.5 million Mexican free-tail bats converge at dusk from the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge for their evening exodus from the narrow crevices under the bridge. An incredible sight!
