Description

The Tahquanemon River is in the UP of Michigan. It is 89 miles long and drains 820 square miles of watershed into Lake Superior. Tahquanemon Falls is 200 feet wide and drops 50 feet. The water is notably brown from the tannins of the cedar swamps that it drains.
