The Gulgong Opera House
The Prince Of Wales Opera House is the oldest still-operating Opera House in the Southern Hemisphere. It was built in 1871 by John Hart Cogden. This classic building is now owned by the Gulgong Amateur Musical and Dramatical Society. Dame Nelly Melba has performed on its stage, and several generations have seen their first theatrical production under this historic roof.

Superb detail, color, and clarity, John; and great info too. This reminds me of the old, historical buildings in Beechworth (just visited), a remarkable little town! #11699247Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
