Late Johnny Franks, a musician and good friend, was a regular cancer fund-raiser in my town! He was sweet, generous and friendly man who simply wanted to give back and smile.
First I knew him when he approached me as his Councillor to donate a public bench. The Council had no procedures to accept donations in this way but I managed to have a bench at the spot of Johnny choice on the Council expenses!
He remained a good friend till he passed away!
