Description

More dabbling in multi-row stitched panoramas, with the cathedral as my practice ground... This was stitched from 16 images; 4 rows shot, spanning from ceiling to floor, each with 4 overlapping frames spanning left to right. This wonderful stairway of 37 steps includes four landings and 3 right-angle turns, and connects the main level above to the crypt level seen here. 3/17 Finalist - ManMade

Hey, thanks a lot, Hayden!!
It has been fun exploring the multi-row pano tripod rig.
Now, I see that I want to reshoot this same scene again -- I need to get a capture with the full railing shadow at bottom right... And maybe add more on the left side of the frame... and... and... (It never ends!!) #11574316

Thank you all very much! I love photographing at the cathedral of course, but also really love this staircase. I have another image for May, that does in fact capture the rest of the railing shadow, which I quite like. #11590251
