Description

Since it is so close to Halloween I decided to post my colorful photo of this beauty, a Yellow & Black Garden Spider that I took yesterday morning in the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve.  These spiders can be found hanging in their webs in the Coastal Prickly Pear Cactus. They hatch and grow during the summer months and spin their webs and hang out during the fall months providing additional fall color to Southern California.
