Taking A Break As Evening Falls

Uploaded: July 02, 2016 | Entered: July 08, 2016 11:44:21

Description

As evening falls, an eagle is taking a break and will be heading off for his night time perch in the forest, beyond the lake.
Original background image was taken, in Autumn, at Willow Lake in Southern Oregon. The eagle was added as a composite image by using layers in Photoshop CC. The flying birds and foreground grasses were added with a Photoshop brush. If you enlarge the image, you will see a young buck on the other side of the lake. He is turning his head around to check out a noise that he has heard. Buck and reflection added as composite images.
Image was processed in Nik Color Effects Pro and Nik Vivezia. Final processing completed in Photoshop's Oil Paint Filter.
Photoshop brushes by Obsidian Dawn.
