Hiding In Plain Sight

Description

A baby ground squirrel saw me with my camera and immediately tried to hide and at one point the only thing sticking out was his tail. There were a lot of baby squirrels running around at the lookout point in Newport, Oregon. We were really watching for whales but found a lot of other smaller wildlife too. I did get to see a whale's tail but it was too far to get a clear telephoto image. Image taken in Newport Oregon with an EOS 7D Mark II and an EF70-300 F4.5-5.6 DO IS @ 210mm, F6.3, 1/320s, ISO 200. Original Raw image processed in Photoshop CS6 Camera Raw, Topaz Clarity and Topaz FX Lab. A Texture from Distressed Textures was applied to get the soft effect.
