This one was taken last December on that windy day at Hawks Nest. This Ibis was doing the rounds of the carpark hoping a few would share lunch, as they always do!!!

This poor ibis has only one foot, but he apparently still manages to get his share of lunch, thank you very much. I like the way you brought the viewer's eye to the point of that long beak he has, Chris. #1644844Kirsten Kiki Kjaer December 13, 2015
I always feel so sad when I see animals hurting. But as Mary points out, he seems to manage despite it. I hope he got some lunch. He's such a beautiful bird and you did well capturing him, Chris. #11411604John Connolly December 13, 2015
A wonderful image Chris! I have never seen a bird with such an appetite for french fries as these characters, their stomach is a bottomless pit. #11411673Chris Ebben December 14, 2015
Thanks a lot for the comments. Mary, I know what you mean about animals hurting but this one seems to cope OK & is very friendly. #11411892Emile Abbott December 14, 2015
Sad he has lost a limb. Hope his lunch is good. #11411992Chris Ebben December 16, 2015
He has a Seagull mate up at Tea Gardens with one leg also. They both seem to cope OK & know how to work the crowd to share their lunch. Thanks for taking the time to comment.Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
