End of the Long Night

Uploaded: November 24, 2005

Description

I had been photographing all night
long, and wondering why my exposures
were so dark. Turns out I had left
my polarizing filter on, which isn't
such a great idea for star trails
or other night photography. This
photo took about twenty minutes to
achieve reasonable brightness. It
was the last of the night. Turns
out, whatever problems I had,
the photo was worth the wait.
