Whoop, Whoop-ing Cranes

Description

Endangered Crane! The state of Wisconsin is part of the Operation Migration efforts to rebuild the Whooping Crane population. Last summer I got to attend a training flight session of the Whooping Cranes, and the ultra light plane that guides them in the migration process. And today I saw 3 of the birds now living in the wild. I was only able to get a good capture of 2 of the birds, but what a thrill to see them at all.

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/16000 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 300.00 mm, Model: NIKON D3300
