Winter's Last Hurrah
Uploaded: March 25, 2015 | Entered: March 25, 2015 15:59:31
This was photographed outside our driveway in mid-February 2011. But it looks almost exactly like this now, as the last major snowfall in the Philadelphia area is almost a memory. The ash trees don't drop their leaves until Spring's new growth pushes them out. Although they are dead, they look orange in the glow of the sun.

The colors are lovely against the snowy backdrop. It would be wonderful when Spring's verdant colors blanket the area. #11271690Irene Colling March 25, 2015
Lovely work Michelle. I didn't know that about ash trees; it must be nice to still have some color during the winter. #11271731Dianne Brin March 25, 2015
