Morning Dew Drop

Uploaded: June 22, 2014 | Entered: June 22, 2014 09:36:38

Description

It's early morning and everything in the garden is covered in a thick heavy dew. I've never had good luck in photographing dew drops, so I searched for a plant that had just enough morning light to showcase the drops beauty. I was in luck to find a drop clinging to a Purple Queen plant that met my needs.

We never have a heavy dew...I need to move further south! :) Well, your diligent search sure paid off big time with the capture of this perfect sphere of a dew drop and the reflection within, Don - great light and color also! Beautiful work! #11072192

The colors are wonderful, and the closer drop is so pretty, almost like a marble hanging off the leaf. I also like the two in the background, giving it some depth and drawing our eyes in! So pretty and well done, very nice! #11072568
