This is the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite Village. #10964648

Nicely composed night scene, Stephen. Not sure if your version is as dark as it appears in BP.

Would suggest your dodge the leaves of the bush beneath the sigh and also the rays of light on the path at the left. Also might clone out that bright spot upper left.

A lot to like here, and like, Teresa, would love to go there. #10965152

Count me in, I want to go too!! I think the light on the sign works well with the light in the building!! #10965403

This is the best I can do. It was really too dark to take this picture. #10965513

I like it!

A few years ago, when we lived in Vegas, the Art Gallery at the Belagio had an Adams exhibit. It was absolutely amazing. #10965523

Beautifully captured, Stephen. If this were mine, I'd frame it for both visual appeal and inspiration. I love the light and POV. So inviting. #10966052

I'm in...what time should we meet there? #10966178

Just wish the photo was really print quality. Even at 8x10 the noise shows up in the brightened areas.

I love the responses to this. Its the stuff dreams are made of. #10966321

It's the lighting that elevates this image from the ordinary, Stephen.
Excellent work. #10967607

Nice one and the edit is really nice. I would love to visit the gallery. Your shot, Stephen, since is was taken at night has an air I'd mystery to it. I like that! #10967830

Thank you Peter.

Kalena -- I think you're right. I just worked up a composite that had this sign merged onto a more straight on view of the gallery window and better light on porch and the decking. The image didn't work...it provided too much information that competed with the sign and the window display and lost the impact. #10967966
