Jeff, I love the lighting on this. I'm guessing you painted the light. And the orb inside makes it a perfect image for this months challenge. Super job. #1557737

Really cool image! How did you light up the building? #10932750

Jeff E Jensen December 31, 2013

Elaine, I used my wizardry!

Actually, I used my flash. A single pop at full power was enough. #10932771

Even if I managed to get myself off the couch and into the hinterlands, I wouldn't be able to find these great subjects. Impressive job. #10934450

Thanks, everyone! I shot this the other night. Every year, Pete and I spend a day between Christmas and New Years wandering with our cameras. Golden Spike does a couple of days of demos with the trains. The steam in the cold is pretty fantastic. We usually head out to the Jetty for a bit and then wander form there. This was shot at another favorite shot. It's a place called Locomotive Springs, about 25 Northwest of Golden Spike. We've shot here before, but this was the first time we have painted. It was cold, but a lot of fun. Here's another image for you. #10934708
