Description

NIKKOR 18–55mm at 44mm, f/22, 1.6s, ISO 100.

Having found this colorful leaf on my way to work, the only suitable background seemed to be the bark of a close-by tree. I glued the leaf to the bark using chewing gum and shot several frames. To give the background a cleaner look I "flattened" the bark with the adaptive wide angle filter in Photoshop.

Exif: F Number: 22, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 8/5 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 44.00 mm, Model: NIKON D7000

Marcus...that leaf is perfect and the color really pops against the grey bark! #1549801

Great photographers are not great because of their technique; they are great because of their passion.
