No fair, Jeff. You're already taking images using next months challenge. Did a good job too. Thanks for setting an example. #1546087Jeff E Jensen September 27, 2013
Yeah, except I completely forgot to take a shot of my setup. Oh well. #10854583Michael Kelly September 27, 2013
Looks like infrared. Nice job. #10854638Stephen Shoff September 27, 2013

very cool indeed. at least tell how you did it. #10854901Rita K. Connell September 28, 2013
looking at it again before closing I like that all the buttons didn't have 4 holes. #10854902Elaine Hessler September 28, 2013
Yeah, this is neat. I thought it was infrared too. But am confused due to the comment for the challenge. Di you use a flash? Very fun and different. #10854919lisa anderson September 29, 2013
The buttons all look like little alien faces to me; this shot makes me giggle :) #10855552Dale Hardin September 29, 2013
I'm guessing this was done using a TTL cable and holding the flash behind the buttons. #10855558Peter W. Marks September 29, 2013
And this is why we guys have zips! #10855579Jeff E Jensen September 29, 2013
Thanks, everyone!I really should have taken a setup shot. I actually thought about it as I was setting things up, but completely forgot. Must be the old age.
This was shot with the buttons spread out on a piece of glass that was sitting on top of 4 jars. I had two speedlights under the glass, triggered wirelessly from the camera which was on a tripod, pointing straight down. Here's another shot. #10855622

I thought maybe you had used a light box. I like the black and white version the best. It almost looks like an xray! #10855981Jeff E Jensen September 30, 2013
Yeah, a light box would do about the same thing, Beth. #10856066Debbie E. Payne October 01, 2013
Nice work, Jeff. I really can't decide which I like the best. Both work for me and although I like the infrared look to the black and white I am also really liking the color. Will have to play with the flash this month and see what I can come up with. #10858505Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
