At first I thought this was Jeff's work and did a double take when I saw your name! Awesome shot Michael and I love the title! #1542325

I thought it was Jeff, too! I love the blue streak and the reflection. Nice work #10824333

You made some great shots that night Mike. Wasn't it fun? Wish I could have seen you again on my last trip. Was close but anxious to get home. #10824818

Stephen Shoff August 29, 2013

I agree. Well done. #10824918

Yep. Puts mine to shame...

this is totally awesome Mike I to didn't look and thought it was Jeff's until I was reading the comments. Jeff look out if mike could play more with you you would have some stiff competition.

really neat shot. I wouldn't change anything #10826360

Thank you Kristin and Lisa. Jeff was a big part of this shot. He not only provided starting camera and lens suggestions, but that is him spinning the flaming steel wool during our get together in Salt Lake.

Yes that was a magical night Dale. Thanks to great weather and some wonderful shared experience in making these shots from Jeff and his crew I got some shots I really liked. You are on the road a lot so I understand the need to get home. I am sure we will get together again before to long.

Thanks Stephen and thank you Jeff for both the physical part of this shot and sharing your hard gained knowledge of how to shoot these with the group.

I am sure you got some great shots Elaine. I am looking forward to seeing some. Thank you for he kind words.

Thank you Rita. I could not have done it without Jeff so I don’t think he needs to worry to much.

It WAS a magical night. I'll never forget how much fun it was. And amazingly, no one got hurt or burned!

I promise to work on one of these next:) #10827356

Oh my gosh Mike! I now wish hadn't read how you made this; I almost was prepared to believe I was viewing some outer-space astronomic occurrence!
Excellent, but I still wonder how you get away with this stuff without a black helicopter from the Homeland Security hovering overhead while a dozen agents abseil down to arrest the bunch of you.
I am increasingly coming to the conclusion that all the pretty flower images I see posted are just a cover-story. #10827366

I am late again, but you did a Great job on this!!
It was a Magical Night, so many memories and laughing so hard!! I am so glad to be there! Tell Sherri Hi! #10828226

Michael Kelly level-deluxe September 01, 2013

Thanks Teresa, Sherry liked this one for the same reasons you mentioned. Lifgt painting sure produces some interesting looks and I would be willing to do it again anytime.

Looking forward to seeing your shot Elaine.

Thanks Peter – living in such a dry place as Northern Nevada I am a bit shy about fire in any form. If you touch off a wildfire they make you pay the cost to fight it and are very strict when it comes to enforcing fireworks laws, so I understand your reference.

Thanks Beth. Loved everything about that night on the lake – will say high to Sherry for you.
