Built by the River Exhibit

Just one more "brag" about the Dossin Great Lakes Museum (Detroit Historical Society) on Belle Isle in the Detroit River (Michigan)... The reopening was today and I'm now part of the history of Detroit.
This is it! That's my photograph, "Detroit Skyline" (10' x 10') behind the flat screen TV (which plays videos of the annual Hydroplane Races; the annual Port Huron to Mackinaw Sailboat Races; and Ice Boat Racing. The first two are World Famous and historic events.
To the right is an exhibit section about fishing on the River. My Dad and his Dad were a big part of fishing at Belle Isle (Dad also raced a wooden model yacht that he made in the small marine basin up the road when he was younger.) 8904 May 18, 2013
