Pelican Popcorn
Uploaded: April 02, 2013
After all the diving and filling that HUGE POUCH with water and then straining it out.
This is more often than not the result of all that hard work and effort. SNACK FOOD like you or I tossing back peanuts, I have seen a Pelican repeatedly dive into a school of finger mullet and consume enough that he was unable to get airborne. Or attack fishing lures thinking they are fish. If nothing else these big birds are entertaining and ALWAYS HUNGRY

Nice shot Jack and interesting info. I guess they are always hungry because they are quite a big bird. #10639406Jeffrey R. Bange April 02, 2013

Great timing and portrait, Jack!! Not sure what I'll be contributing to the contest here myself. Couple of provisos that are recent or I missed before-- model releases for recognizable people and no brand names allowed. #10639563Avril Young April 03, 2013
