Have to admit that I've never seen anything like it. I photographed the mountainside every way I could think of and am still processing the shots off and on. I don't feel like I've truly captured it -- yet. But this is a piece of what I saw. #10546403

In June of 2009, Cement Ridge of the Black Hills was sooo in bloom that you could hardly take a step without stepping on a wildflower. But Cement Ridge always has a significant breeze blowing so to increase the depth of field I took three shots of this scene varying the focal point then layered them together. It is almost an infinite focus on infinite wildflowers.
