Relentless Freeloaders

Uploaded: January 24, 2013

Description

Even after breaking away from the flock with a large carcass and nearly having it all concealed in it huge pouch of a mouth can a pelican relax. These small gulls are a relentless in attempting to steal as much as they possibly can. While any small bit is exposed they will hover & peck and as you see here almost land on the pelican in attempting to get a free lunch.

Love your title, but first thought you were referring to the pelican being a freeloader... guess they both are. #10531970

Great action shot Jack, but looking closely at the two gulls I might have had to change the title if your seeing what I'm seeing. #10537601
