Description

As if he's looking down and saying OMG have I let myself go or what !!!
While he's actually exposing his feathers to the warm sun in an attempt to rid himself of mites or any other parasites that dislike the sunlight.

I'm always looking at the comical side of nature regardless of whats actually going on. Yet ALWAYS being aware of what it is I'm watching. As with people anything w/feathers ,fur or scales can put a smile on your face. While they can also put you in a world of hurting if your not careful.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/1000 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 500.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90

As always, I enjoy reading the story behind the picture. It is always interesting to read about why an animal does what it does. Here we see the bird spread then wings and now we know why thanks to your addition of the story. Beautifully done Jack. #10528491
