Wood-Stork Squabble

Uploaded: January 10, 2013

Description

Wound up at the Ibis Colony behind the solid waste treatment plant in West Palm Yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to see well over a hundred Wood-Storks all over the place. Looks as if they are making a Nice recovery from Threatened Status.
About a 100x that in White Ibis that were everywhere.
They Gators are already camping out and waiting on the unfortunate chicks that drop from nests.
Area closes to the Public in 3 weeks .

Cool shot. I'm hoping you get a lot more before it closes.
We've been having a bunch of pelicans back behind my house, but you can't get very close to them, the geese and ducks all get upset and then they do, too. #1508077
