Description

An action study of a male Aussie Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) as it dances and prances in the shallows to stir up crustaceans in the mud for its dinner.

The shot was made at Lake Cathie, south of my home town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia.

Canon 5D MkIII with Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 MkII L series lens fitted with Canon 1.4x MkIII Extender.

f/4 @ 1/3200sec, ISO 400.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: -0.67, ExposureTime: 1/3200 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 280.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark III
