One can't go home without at least buying a memento or two. So which one is it gonna be? Hmmm. I'll take the cup with the emblazoned City, a reminder of the trip to the states. Well seen and captured Lorna. #1494422

Ooo! I am such a sucker for gift shops. Ican feel the PULL just viewing this!

I have a coffee mug from every USA state I ever went through. I used to collect spoons, too, but they got stolen from me. That was such a big blow that I kind of stopped collecting stuff. Dale is all the happier about that part. :D

I am so glad you had a fun and safe rip, Sis. Penn is HUGE and there is so much to see and do. :)

Okay on to the next photo I go! Love these images! FUN!

Why would anyone want to steal your spoons? I used to have a spoon collection too ... but I don't know where it went to! ... Maybe it was stolen by the same person that stole yours! Ha! Ha! :)

Yes, Penn is HUGE! ... but all we did there was SHOP! LOL! :D

Glad you're having FUN with my images, Sis! :) #10388677

We made the mistake of hiring this family to help us move from house one to house two up here in Calgary. 2 parents and 3 daughters. Their oldest daughter stole them and sold them (traded them?) for drugs. Her other (straight laced) sister told me 2 years later when they weren't speaking to that sister anymore. She stole some of my jewelery, too. They were a poor family and we thought we were doing a kind thing and paid them well to help us. :( I hope you find yours. Mine were sterling silver. (plated?) I have a beautiful huge cherry wood spoon rack for them too shaped like the USA. No spoons for it. :((( #10388721

Sad story, Sis! :( If I ever find my spoons, I'll give them to you to put on your spoon rack. :) #10388734

No Sweetie. They are your special spoons. You have a huge heart for offering, but no. xoxo :) After I wrote this to you it occurred to me that I could hang necklaces on them or something. :) It has sat in the garage waiting for spoons but I'll never have the chance to go to each state again like I had. I collected them when I had a job that took me to all the states but Alaska and Hawaii. :) No worries, okay? It was such a long time ago now. Sludge under the bridge. Lol.... #10388754

Don't you just hate sludge?! LOL! :D #10390107
