No need to critique this image. I just wanted to show you all a little sample of what the storm here in Washington this past few weeks has left. This was a downed power line that hit just before I arrived to deliver the mail to the boxes just to the right (they are no longer there) It has been a few rough days in my area. We had a wild ride for a week or so but things are starting to get back to normal (what ever that may be) hahaha. We had 21 inches of snow fall within 24 hours which crippled many (we don't have that happen much)In my lifetime it has only snowed this hard three times but I do believe this was the worst. Some were without power for a week but most are back on now. #1439567Michael Kelly January 27, 2012
Wow, fire and ice! Nice capture, Sue. That is a lot of snow and thanks for sharing this photo. Very interesting. #9950612Carla Capra Anderson January 27, 2012

It isn't everyday one sees snow on fire. Hope you get all sorted out soon. We used to get snow in Cashmere, but not that much in one night as a rule. #9951054Aimee C. Eisaman January 27, 2012
That's enough to wake you up! So glad you weren't in that spot when the wire went down. 21 inches in 24 hours is crazy....reminds me of a blizzard we had in 1993. O I'm feeling old talking about 'the big' snow when I was a girl! lol I sure hope everyone is okay in your area and that things get cleaned up quickly. :~) #9951568Sue C. Cole January 28, 2012
Me too Aimee, it was just a matter of minutes. Made me very alert for the remainder of my route. I was ver greatful I had my camera on me that day. I had forgotten it and took the time to go home thinking we don't get this weather often, so I wanted to take advantage of it. The picture made it on the news. I also managed to get a few shots of the beauty of this stuff too:) #9952760Rita K. Connell January 28, 2012
