Ajanta Cave Painting

Uploaded: January 17, 2012

Description

This 2,000+ year old fresco painting is on the wall of one of the 29 Ajanta caves in India. The caves' entrances were covered by dense jungle growth until rediscovered in 1819 by a British officer while tracking down a wounded tiger. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contain incredibly beautiful art.
