Charge!

Uploaded: December 27, 2011

Description

Estes Park, Colorado (Oct, 2011). This BIG GUY was "caught sleeping" by a younger bull that had been bugling near by. Over the course of ten minutes, the entire harem of female elk had crossed the highway to join the younger male. To say the least, the BIG GUY wasn't happy and he charged across the highway to save face and reclaim his ladies. It certainly brought traffic to a standstill while the elk made a dash to set things straight!
