Christmas Loaves

Uploaded: December 22, 2011

Description

I happened across the recipe from my Dad's bread baking ventures, and decided to try my hand at recreating the French bread that he would so often bake to accompany some delicious French cheese sent from our Normand Family. Today I baked my own little French loaves, and relived the precious memories of those times gone by. I cropped the original image, adjusted the lighting and added a spot filter to soften the edges. Thanks so much for looking at my gallery!

Thanks so much, my friend for such sweet comments! The bread didn't turn out too badly. ;) The memories are precious. I picked up a little bit of Camembert cheese at Martin's last night to accompany the bread, and I might even have to open a bottle of Semillion or French Pinot Noir to wash it down. Ahhh, yes!!! Joyeux Noel, my friend!! :) #9885024
