The Making of 'Winter Beach Walk':

A different year but the same season and time of day as 'Fishing is for the Birds' and the ultra-bright conditions were the same except this time there was no wind. I used the ND4 and polarising filters again to combat the brightness and glare.

The seventeenth in a series of nineteen waterscape photographs chosen by the developers of Coast Apartments in my home town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. The large black and white prints grace the walls of the foyers, gymnasium and lift on permanent display in the luxury complex.

The series gives the viewer a journey from the Hastings River, that runs through the town and down the coast to The Gap at Diamond Head Beach in the Crowdy Bay National Park.

Enjoy!

Another really great image, in b+w, Dennis! Love the different points happening in this image, but the long shadows bring it all together. #9853518
