National Cathedral

This is one of the most beautiful churches I have seen this side of the ocean. Yes the sky was that colouring . . it is not Photoshopped. It was difficult to get good pictures with all the scaffolding around . . she suffered major damage in the recent earthquake.

I like your comp of the tower peaking through the trees... good job "hiding" any scaffolding, given the huge repair jo they're currently undertaking... #1425057Carolyn McIntosh November 22, 2011
Thanks Christopher . . . I was so disapointed to not be able to go inside. I ended up taking a lot of detail shots with a zoom lens so that I could get around the scaffolding. #9825139Heather Loewenhardt December 03, 2011
