Arlington House

Uploaded: October 27, 2011

Description

This is the former home of Robert E. Lee as Arlington was at one time his personal estate. It is now the home of Arlington Cemetery and directly overlooks the grave of John F. Kennedy. We had a chance to tour it and although it is in the middle of restoration, being there completed the circle of history for me.

Exif: F Number: 11, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/60 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 250, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 110.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700

I love the way the pillars are framed and the contrast in tonality. #1421746

I think this is a very different angle than what most photographers would use. I just thought the foliage was so spectacular and provided the perfect framing for the pillars. #9794350
