Description

The 1st of 19 photographs chosen by the developers of Coast Apartments in my home town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. The large black and white prints grace the walls of the foyers, gymnasium and lift on permanent display.

The series gives the viewer a journey from the Hastings River, that runs through the town and down the coast to The Gap at Diamond Head Beach in the Crowdy Bay National Park.

Fuji S9600: RAW, f/3.2 @ 1/500sec, 9mm, ISO 100.

The Making of 'Sunset Moorings #3':

This beautiful river scene sunset was photographed from the south bank of the Hastings River at the Boundary Street Ferry Wharf in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia, on a mid-winter's day.
The Pelican skimming across the water from stage right was a wonderful moment of serendipity.
