These are just road pic's... had my camera on board until the third day of our trip... then gave up... Trying to control two 3 month old kittens from hanging off the ceiling of the truck, and sitting on the drivers head defeated me in the end! LOL #1414543

These are wonderful Joan. I like each for a different reason. Road for the great feeling of space, reflections for the great color and obviously the reflection, and trees for the great light and clarity combined with the BG fog. Looks like your shutter finger did not get too rusty. #9729591

You did an awesome job for all the chaos going on around you! I like your first one for the straight wide open space. You won't see much of that here in West Virginia.
I really like the trees for the color and the fog. That would be a job to keep the kittens from driving you nuts! #9729687

Yup, these are all pretty fantastic. Really makes me miss Alberta. #9729865

Ha, Ha! Joan really is "Herding Cats!" I want to see some pictures of them, too, Joan. And I never tire of pictures of what the Rocky Mountains have to offer. As Mike says, they are all good for different reasons. Good to see your work again. #9729892

Looks like a good time to be on the road. #9730017

its so nice to have you back again Joan, as it has been said they all are great shots for different reasons. My favor is the trees. it will always remind me of our 25th anniversary when we were there, and Jim drew me a color pencil of these besutiful aspen trees. #9730830

Thank you all! I am just happy that considering the circumstances anything turned out at all! Unfortunately, the Road picture is about the best view of the mountains we got... Fog set in and we could have been on the prairies for all you could see of the mountains! LOL. Thank you Rita for naming the trees (I knew they started with an "A" but had Alder stuck in my head). The lemon yellow (which the picture does not portray as vividly as I had hoped) was wonderful amidst the gloom of the day. What was left of the sun caught them beautifully.

I will post pic's of the Kittens soon... along with the stories of their arrivals (they were separate additions) soon. They are either in full motion or asleep, so I'll have to velcro them down at some point !

So far we are loving Osoyoos... quite a change from Texas, and we can expect a winter, however a milder one than northern Alberta

Wow they sure do take care of cutting along the road don't they? I like the shot of the reflections. Love when it's hard to tell where the sky ends and the earth begins. I too will be waiting to see kitten pictures. LOL Velcro...we talk about making a velcro wall for the kids and putting them in velcro suits. :~) #9731400

wonderful to have you back Joan and with such a lovely series of shot too. Like the rest, I like them all for different reasons.

Especially like the road shot because it reminds me of my last trip. Sometimes I wish I'd set up the camera on a sandbag in the window with a remotes shutter cable. Next time. :o) #9732951

These are all wonderful Joan. I've always love the yellow Aspen shots and yours is no exception. :)For all the chaos surounding you these shots are excellent. :) #9735626
