Great shot for your return Sue. Color and clarity are wonderful and the bit of mystery engendered by the partially open window works very well for me.

Normally with a shot that has so much white it which blends into BP's awful white BG, we recommend a single pixel stroke to separate the image from the BG. This one actually works OK for me without the stroke, but will see if the others agree. #1414101

I'm with Mike on this one, very well done!

I also agree about the stroke, not having it adds a bit to the mystery. #9726700

Hi Sue;
I agree with Michael and Jeff, this is awesome. The cloudy reflections in the window are a huge plus. I also, think it works without a stroke.
Part of the mystery, Jeff mentioned, is the darkness inside the auto. But, I see a few distractions which continually draw my eye. There is one just above the lovely brides head and another near the upper right corner of the window. Are they the shape of interior lighting?

Very nicely done, Sue. I love how we just see her eyes and the reflections of the clouds are too cool. I believe that it works best without a stroke in this case since you already have a the outlines of the car's window as a sort of "frame". Any stroke would be too much. #9727127

What a fun shot Sue. I love the reflection of the clouds in the window. :)

I'd suggest adding a bit of skin softening . . . especially the area under her eyes. :) #9727203

What a unique and wonderful image Sue. Love the concept and the absence of the stroke.

As mentioned there are a few distractions that draw the eye. For me those are the two white "spikes", one just to the right of her face and one behind her to the left.

But the most distracting is the unfortunate shape of the clouds on the window. There is a blue area where her mouth would be that draws the eye and looks like a distorted mouth. I'd suggest cloning a bit of the cloud to partially cover that area to change the shape.

Also agree about the eye fix.

So much to like about this great shot. The mystery of it, the reflective clouds, the shape of the comp, etc. Wonderful job Sue. Love it. #9727221

Thank you all for your comments. I did notice the two lines on the inside of the car but keep them there because I thought it might take away from the shap of the inside of the car and make it appear too perfect. I agree with the cloning of the mouth with the clouds and will fix that easily, however i'm not sure how to soften the under-eye problem. I just recently had the CS5 version of photoshop given to me and and learning new things. Could anyone help me with the skin softening or toning under the eyes. I will do your suggestions and repost. Thank you for your feed back. #9727770

I Sue, I am Rita from ohio, I have been our of town for couple of weeks and didn't get to say Hi, and welcome back to the club.

great capture and I agree the most distracting is the blue reflection where the mouth is. tony is the expert on the under eye. I usually do a very light cloning just to decrease the shadow there. #9730812

Other than the cloud/mouth area I'm not really distracted by anything. I too like this one without a stroke. Nobody has said it, but instantly I was taken back to the photos of princess Dianna on her wedding day. A great feel to have to a photo in my opinion. I use cloning at around 60% opacity for under eye circles. :~) #9731385

Princess Di? Yes, I remember those images of her very well.
All the suggestions would add to an already very attractive image Sue although the two faint objects Carla mentioned don't bother me in the least.
Nice work and a much more interesting bride image than most in wedding albums. #9737408
